Service Centre Technician

**Job Description Summary**: The Service Centre Technician is responsible for providing in-house service repair support to BD customers. They are responsible for communicating with customers and delivering a high level of customer satisfaction. We have over 65,000 employees and a presence in virtually every country around the world to address some of the most challenging global health issues. **Duties and Responsibilities**: - Repair "mail-in” customer instruments. - Excellent communication skills in order to manage and coordinate with both external and internal customers. - Engages directly with customers to arrange instrument loaners and receive, repair and return instrumentation that requires servicing. - Manage calibrated tools for Field Service (inbound, outbound and vendor management), maintain reporting and send regular reminders to FSRs for return of calibrated tools. - Decontamination of inbound instrumentation. - Manage receipt of inbound parts that require re-routing for Quality investigation. - Manage inbound/outbound customer demo requests. - Assist with managing regular Service Centre cycle counts - Assist in staging instrument installations to help ensure high customer experience. - Display maturity and judgment in time management and expense control - Accountable for providing support to customers that meet BD standards of superior quality service at all times. - As a representative of BD, promote and maintain good customer relations through high standards of personal appearance, ethical behavior, maturity and good judgment. **Qualifications**: - A minimum of a High School diploma - 2 years minimum experience troubleshooting electronics instruments or components - Experience working in an ISO 13485 environment is an asset - Experience working on flow cytometry and/or fluidics instrumentation preferred. - For many roles _at BD, employment is contingent upon the Company’s receipt of sufficient proof that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
