We are currently seeking a **Class 3 Driver**to join our team at our **Martensville, Saskatchewan**location. This role is critical to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to our customers, while representing our company with professionalism and excellent customer service.

The Class 3 Driver will be responsible for operating company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, loading and unloading materials, and supporting the logistics and operations teams as needed. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a commitment to safety and service.

**The Class 3 Driver duties include but are not limited to**:

- Responsible for the pickup and delivery of loads by operating the tandem deck truck, with mounted forklift.
- Performing a daily pre-trip truck and equipment inspection, including an electronic pre-trip inspection.
- Following written and verbal instructions from the Shipping Supervisor for deliveries and pickups.
- Loading and unloading lumber, roof trusses, pallets and other related building materials with a truck-mounted forklift.
- Ensuring that every load is secured appropriately, according to safety and legal requirements.
- Counting items on every load to ensure the counts match the attached paperwork
- Assisting the warehouse/yard team with staging loads in assigned areas.
- Tagging products with relevant information (e.g., Sales Order #, PO #, Customer Reference, etc.).
- Completing all required paperwork and returning the paperwork to the Shipping Supervisor after each run.
- Contacting the customer before leaving the Norspan yard to ensure a successful delivery is achieved.
- Other duties as assigned.
- A valid Class 3 Saskatchewan Driver’s License with Air Brake Endorsement.
- Have a clean driver’s abstract.
- A forklift license or experience to operate a truck-mounted forklift.
- Have basic knowledge of routine maintenance - checking oil, gauges, fluid levels & tire pressure, etc.
- Have the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs for an extended period of time.
- Have a strong work ethic and have the ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
- Good communication skills both written and verbally.
- Have 1-2 years of driving experience.
