**Position**:Building Superintendent (Not Live In) - Residential Housing

**The primary role of the Maintenance Handyperson is to**:

- Complete approved maintenance work orders in a residential housing community within the established timelines.
- Maintain the physical condition of the housing community's property, equipment, building, and facilities.
- Maintain, service, and repair all equipment and facilities.
- Maintain the storage yard and shed to established standards.
- Conduct routine scheduled property inspections.
- Schedule and coordinate on-site contractors for approved services.
- Complete and submit all required reports.
(property inspection, inventory, work order status, etc.)
- Assist and support the Management Office Staff when required.
- Work to be performed does not include work that requires a license (plumbing, electrical, etc.)

**Qualities**:

- A person who demonstrates respect for co-workers and can provide service to a diverse client population with a customer-focused, friendly and professional attitude.

**Key Qualifications**:

- Medium-level plumbing, carpentry, tiling, and electrical skills.
- Fluent verbal English and effective writing skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Successfully pass a police vulnerable sector background check.

**Pay**: The rate is $22 to $25 per hour based on skills and experience.
