Magellan Aerospace, Winnipeg has a Student term employment opportunity for _Logistics and Supply Chain Management_ students. The successful applicant will gain experience through on-the-job training and by performing essential work duties for Magellan Aerospace, Winnipeg.
This student position would ideally begin late **February**or early** March** and will run**for 4 months (with possibility of extension).
**Supply Chain/Procurement - Summer Student**
**Primary Responsibilities**:
- Soliciting Requests for Quotation as well as building Purchase orders.
- Basic Negotiations - price, delivery, and terms and conditions.
- Open order follow-up - coordinating with suppliers.
- Supply Chain Projects associated with (Product Lead Time, Controlled Goods, Supplier Qualification and Questioners).
- 6S monthly audits.
- Managing SERs - Supplier Evaluation Requests.
- Data Integrity - performing Mass updates in our system and compiling reports from this data (Excel and possibly Access).
