**Job Summary**
Under the direction of the Shipping Supervisor, Shippers/Receivers are responsible for the shipping, receiving, packing, unpacking, storage, and accurate documentation of supplies, materials and stock.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Duties include, but are not limited to:_
- Arrange deliveries; prepare bills of lading and other shipping documents.
- Assemble skids, pack goods for shipment, and attach packing slips with identifying information and shipping instructions.
- Inspect and count incoming goods; verify against purchase orders; record shortages; reject or return damaged items.
- Unpack and store goods in designated storage areas.
- Maintain accurate shipment records; trace lost shipments when required.
- Operate forklifts, hand trucks, or other material-handling equipment (training provided if required).
- Create shipping labels and maintain records using computer systems.
- Contact customers or carriers to coordinate pick-up and delivery.
- Process shipping and receiving documents including bills of lading, packing slips, receiving tallies, and picking tickets.
- Follow all safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment at all times.
- Perform general housekeeping and other related duties as assigned.

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**
- Ability to read and interpret order slips and shipping documents.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic product knowledge and understanding of warehouse operations.
- Physical ability to handle heavy objects (up to 100 lbs).

**Education and Experience**
- Valid driver’s license (driver’s abstract may be required).
- Forklift certification/experience is an preferred but not required.

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
