Personal Support Worker

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Under the delegation and guidance of the Nurse, Charge Nurse ,the Patient Care Aide will assist the team as appropriate, responding to patient needs or tasks that require attention.
- Assisting Nursing and interdisciplinary staff with care of patients, ambulation and repositioning
- light house keeping task.
- Responding to call bells as appropriate
- Respectful and caring to residents
- Communicate with cognitively impaired residents, families, colleagues and staff
- Organize and prioritize workload
- Follow resident care plan and carry out activities as directed
- Report resident needs through observation of physical and mental condition/behavior
- Follow safety procedures to maintain a safe and clean environment
- Transfer and positioning techniques of persons.
- Manage time effectively

Work Remotely
- Temporarily due to COVID-19

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract, Casual, Seasonal, Freelance
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 40 per week

**Salary**: From $32.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- On call
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
