**Job Overview**

We are seeking an Electrical Draftsperson to support our engineering and fabrication teams through

the creation of high-quality, technically sound 2D CAD drawings and documentation packages. This

position plays a key role in the design lifecycle—from concept to As-Built documentation—ensuring that

all project deliverables meet internal and client standards.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Produce detailed drawing sets including general arrangements (GA), panel layouts, cable tray routing, conduit runs, and device location plans.
- Prepare complete Issued for Construction (IFC) and As-Built drawing packages in line with OSP13 requirements.
- Use AutoCAD or similar 2D software to create and revise drawings based on engineering markups and field redlines.
- Create and maintain Drawing Tracking Logs and Release Tracking Files.
- Distribute and control drawing revisions per internal procedures.
- Support development of Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) documentation.
- Collaborate with engineers, quality personnel, and shop supervisors to ensure drawings reflect field conditions.
- Selecting componets and producing Bill of Materials (BOM) for puchasing.

**Required Qualifications**
- Diploma in Computer Aided Design and Drafting (CADD).
- 2+ years of experience in industrial, electrical, or modular building drafting.
- Proficient in AutoCAD or equivalent 2D drafting software.
- Strong knowledge of electrical drafting standards.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering specifications and drawings.
- Excellent file and revision control habits.

**Preferred Assets**
- Knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code (CEC), NBCC, and CSA standards.
- Experience with As-Built drawings and field redlines.
- Shop floor or fabrication support experience.
- Familiarity with drawing-based QC and engineering change processes.
