Literacy Instructor/ Psychology Grad/ Educational Assistant. Sw Calgary

Sound Connections Literacy and Language Centres Inc., is looking for an exceptional instructor to work with children and their families. This position will begin part-time but could likely grow to a full-time position. It is our preference to take an applicant who ultimately is willing to work about 5-8 hours, 5 days a week. This must include at least 3 evenings and at least one day on the weekend. We are looking for a long-term commitment due to the amount of training required. This Literacy Instructor position is for both in person and on-line services and instructors work from home and from a business base.
For this position, we require a committed applicant with exceptional spoken and written communication skills, who is fun, energetic, detailed and able to engage students. It is also important to work confidently and professionally with parents, showing tremendous empathy.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
