Daycare Cook

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack daily
- Prepare snacks and meals in a manner which is appropriate to the ages and levels of development for all children.
- Prepare freezer meals in event you are not available to work
- Pre bake snacks (such as bread, cookies, muffins, ect.)
- Maintain a sanitary and organized work space
- Discard of kitchen garbage and recycling after each shift
- Assist director with menu planning when needed
- Provide nutritious recipes for homemade meals and snacks
- Cover off ECE staff for one hour prep time in rooms each week
- Assist when needed in rooms
- Cover off ECE lunch breaks when needed
- Clean public (upstairs and Staff (Downstairs) bathrooms daily
- Clean main entrance and back yard entrance daily (Sweep and mop)
- Assist with more in-depth cleaning of these areas when needed (walls, baseboards, ect.)

Mandatory Requirements
- Possession of or willingness to obtain a Food Safe Handling course
- Willingness to attend workshops or training
- Possession of or willingness to obtain First Aid and CPR Level C
- A criminal record search, including a vulnerable sector check

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $13.50-$25.00 per hour

- Shellbrook, SK: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Cooking: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
