Chilliwack, Canada Fontaine Contracting LTD Full time

Fontaine Contracting LTD is seeking a Landscape Technician to join our team in Chilliwack, BC. This is a full-time position with a typical work week ranging from Monday through Friday, between the hours of 7:00am-4:30pm.

This position is responsible for the installation and maintenance of landscape projects on residential properties in a fast-paced environment.

**Essential Functions**:

- Maintain and install all types of landscape plants, shrubs, trees, and groundcover; including annuals, perennials, ornamental plants, ornamental plants, drought tolerant plants, grasses, herbaceous plants, and trees.
- Install and maintain irrigation systems.
- Maintain lawns by mowing, trimming, edging, overseeding, etc.
- Maintain shrub beds by mowing, edging, pruning etc.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

- Assist in maintaining office and warehouse areas when necessary.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of office and warehouse areas when necessary.
- Assist in the general upkeep of property (i.e., mowing lawns, cleaning gutters and sidewalks).
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders up to 6 feet tall as well as stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to work on rooftops and in attics when necessary.
- Must be able to work on rooftops and attics during rain storms if so requested.
- Must be able to work on rooftops when not required to assist in cleaning up after plant installations (i.e., weeding flower beds).
- Must be able to drive a vehicle when needed to transport materials or materials that need to be hauled out of the warehouse or office area when necessary. Must have valid driver’s license with good driving record.

**Salary**: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
