Fleet Manager

Marquis Snow and Ice Ltd. is seeking a qualified Fleet Manager who will play an integral role in our Snow Removal, Property Maintenance, Construction and Road Maintenance operations.

Position Summary:
We’re seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Fleet Manager to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of our vehicle and equipment fleet. You’ll be responsible for tracking and scheduling maintenance, managing parts inventory, and coordinating work assignments to ensure our fleet is always ready to roll.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate and maintain the company's fleet management system to track work projects, completions, schedules, and billing
- Track and schedule regular and emergency maintenance for fleet vehicles and equipment
- Order and manage inventory of parts and supplies
- Schedule and assign work for maintenance staff and operators
- Monitor fleet performance and keep accurate service records
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
- Ensure compliance with vehicle insurance and MTO requirements
- Collaborate with operations and dispatch teams to ensure fleet availability
- Open and issue work orders to applicable departments or personnel
- Reviews completed work orders for accuracy prior to customer billing

Qualifications:

- 5+ years of experience in a similar role with proven experience in fleet management or vehicle maintenance
- Heavy equipment and Agricultural experience an asset
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Familiarity with fleet management software (or willingness to learn)
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Mechanical aptitude is a strong asset
