We’re looking for an experienced, positive, reliable, and hardworking individual to join the Tim Horton’s Field team as a Breakfast Line Cook.

As a Line Cook, you are responsible for maintaining food service times, following the standards in all cooking/prepping, and ensuring tidiness within the Kitchen. Not only are you a Line Cook, but you will also be responsible for assisting in prep.

**Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner.**
- Breakfast shifts starting as early as 4:00 AM
- Follow recipes and portion sizes as directed.
- Preparing scratch cooking meals
- Prepare dishes for clients with food allergies or intolerances.
- Making in house sauces and vinaigrettes.
- Cleaning all the kitchen equipment daily to meet internal standards.
- Comply with all sanitation guidelines and safety standards.
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.

**Qualifications**
- 1-2 years’ experience at a breakfast or dinner restaurant
- Strong understanding of health & safety regulations and commitment to keep the area clean.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Willing to learn and expand your food experience.
- Dedicated to learning a large menu with many in-house made items.
- You are able to reach, bend and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
- You are able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
- Flexible to work during weekends and holidays.
- Efficiently communicate with staff
- Have the ability to work unsupervised.
- Key holder experience preferred.

**License/Certification: Food Handler Certification (preferred)**

Note: Experience in catering is a plus, but not required for this position.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Part-time hours: 10-40 per week

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Hamilton, ON L8L 0C3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)
