- **We are looking for a Loss Prevention Officer to join our team for Square One location.**_

**What you’ll do**

As a Loss Prevention Officer, you will prevent possible damage and theft in store in order to provide a safe shopping environment to our customers and staffs. Including but not limited to
- Monitor public areas and detect suspicious activity / potential threats in store
- Identify potential thieves by following and confronting potential person who is suspected of shoplifting
- Prepare reports related to any loss and damage incidents, theft incidents and accident investigations etc.
- Conduct store self-audits, checklists and safety inspections
- Build and maintain professional relationships with all internal partners, local law enforcement agencies, mall security and other retailers
- Performs ad-hoc duties as assigned

**What you’ll need**
- At least 1 year of asset protection / loss prevention experience in a retail environment
- Satisfy and maintain all licensing required by province or local jurisdiction
- Strong observation, perceptive and intuitive with excellent judgment
- Strong written, verbal, listening and interpersonal communication skills
- Availability to stand and walk for long periods of time
