The Operations Administrator is responsible for meeting all operational related requirements as well as providing administrative support and supporting activities in the warehouse as set forth by the Operations management team.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- To provide administrative assistance/support to the operational management team and work with the operations team daily as required
- To act as a liaison for the operations team to external contacts including customers and carriers
- Ensure that all operational functions are completed on a timely manner, including shipping, receiving, and customer pickups, and including any other functions as assigned be the operations coordinator
- Ensure that all “Special” requests are recorded and expedited in a timely manner
- Promote open, honest communication through accurate, clear and concise information.
- Keep Operations Manager well informed regarding concerns and issues
- To carry out daily activities in a safe & responsible manner.

**Accountability**:

- Operations Shipping, Receiving and Inventory targets as per established goals.
- Provide administrative support for daily operational functions
- Communication through accurate, clear and concise information as to internal and external contacts and the operations management and warehouse team
- Keeping others well informed and up to date.

**Working Relationships**:

- Operations Manager
- Director of Operations
- Warehouse Supervisors, Operational Staff, All Warehouse Associates
- Internal Teams (Other Operational Warehouses, Logistics, Customer Service, Credit, Marketing, and Sales)
- External Teams (Carriers, Vendors and Customers)

**Knowledge, Skills and Ability Required**:

- Strong organization, communication, and computer skills
- Strong internal orientation and relationships
- Strong product and industry knowledge

**Minimum Education and Experience Requirements**:

- Distribution, Shipping, and/or Receiving related experience
- Flooring industry or related field an asset
