Meat Cutter

Westfine Meats Inc. is currently hiring a Meat Cutter at our meat processing plant. This position works Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm. Shift end times may vary.

What You’ll Do
- Will perform the humane harvest of livestock using stunning devices, air knives, saws, hydraulic cutters, steam vacuums and other by-product recovery equipment.
- Produce sanitary edible carcasses and while maximizing the carcass utilization.
- Skin, clean, and trim carcasses; remove viscera and other inedible parts from carcasses.
- Harvest sheep, goats, and mutton while maintaining Halal Standards.
- Clean work areas and equipment.
- Monitor personal and co-worker health & safety.
- Other duties and/or special projects assigned by Lead Hand, Supervisor, HR/ Safety Coordinator, or Manager.

What You Bring
- Previous meat cutting experience
- Attention to detail
- Punctual and reliable
- Physically fit (able to lift 50 lbs)
- Enjoy working on a team
- No formal education required

Nice to have
- Previous experience working in a meat processing plant
- Education experience in agriculture
- Butcher experience
