Domino's Pizza Delivery Driver HRm, Nova Scotia

**Shifts available**:
Opening Shift: (shift begins at 10:30am and typically runs until supper time typically around 6 or 7pm)
Mid shift: 12pm-12am (start and end times may vary slightly depending on store needs).
Closing shifts: (shifts beginning between 3pm and 5pm and running until 1am on weekdays and 3am weekends
There may be some additional short shifts over lunch or supper available for drivers looking to pick up extra hours if they have a flexible schedule.
**Requirements**:
- You must have your own clean and reliable vehicle or access to one.
- You must have current insurance on your vehicle.
- You must have a current driver's license in good standing.
- You must have a clean driving record without at fault collisions in the previous 3 years.
- You must be willing to use a Domino's Pizza car topper (magnetic) on your vehicle.
- You must be willing to wear a Domino's Pizza uniform (we provide shirt, hat, jacket, you must have black pants and belt and comfortable shoes in good condition).
- You must have a functional ability in English to serve customers.
- You must have basic math skills as you will be taking payments and need to be able to calculate change owing and correct payment.
**Compensation and Incentives**:
- Hourly rate
- Mileage (you will be paid a flat rate for every delivery you take)
- Tips (paid out in cash)
- Between hourly, tips, and mileage most drivers average $15-$25 an hour.

The Delivery Expert’s role is crucial within the Domino’s system. With the majority of orders leaving the store for delivery, the Delivery Expert’s job is to get the order to the customer quickly and safely, and with a smile. Delivery Experts are provided the necessary training in order to quickly and correctly assemble delivery orders, locate the location of the delivery, deliver the orders and present them to our customers in a friendly, cordial manner.
Delivery Experts must have their own reliable vehicle, adequate insurance and a driver’s license that is in good standing. They are expected to move quickly on their feet, and to be friendly and courteous with customers and other team members. Cash handling and basic math skills are a must as all Delivery Experts are expected to handle cash and card payments in a safe manner. A uniform is provided. Delivery Experts are expected to be presentable by following Domino’s personal image and grooming standards.
Functions:
Delivery Experts will deliver orders to customers’ homes and places of work. To do so, they must assemble orders to ensure all items are included. Pack the orders into insulated bags, walk quickly to their vehicle and then drive safely to the customer’s location. Upon arrival, delivery experts hustle to the customer’s door and greet all customers in a friendly manner, hand over their order and collect payment.
