Plumber and Gasfitter

**Plumber / Gas Fitter / HVAC / Refrigeration**

Our warehouse is located on Field Road, in Sechelt, and we service the entire Sunshine Coast.

We are seeking a Journeyman/woman plumber/gas fitter to join our team. Ideally, you should have experience in all aspects of plumbing and heating work; from rough in to finish in new construction, renovation, and repair, for both residential and commercial projects.

**Job Duties and Responsibilities**:

- HVAC, Furnace, Air Conditioner, HWT, Heat Pump service and installation
- Investigate and repair leaks
- Rough in ground works, all above graded drainage / ventilation / water supply lines
- Install new/repair/replacement of various plumbing fixtures
- Review and assess apprentice work quality as required
- Accurately track and document materials used and hours worked including job progress with detailed descriptions and photos as required

**Requirements**:

- 3 years minimum experience Plumbing and Gas Fitting
- Valid Gas Fitting Ticket: Class B & A preferred
- Valid HVAC Refrigeration Ticket
- Knowledge of current plumbing and gas codes
- Experience with gas furnace/fireplace maintenance and service calls
- **3rd and 4th year apprentices will be considered**
- Valid BC Driver’s License, with a clean driver abstract
- You have all your own basic tools and reliable transportation to and from our warehouse
- Must be a self-starter who has a high standard of quality and customer service, and a good work ethic
- Must be organized with excellent time management
- Able to efficiently map and manage route planning for multiple sites / customers
- Able to work independently and with others
- Team player with good communication and excellent customer service skills

**Assets**:

- Experience with Drain Auger
- Own equipment and tools
- Experience providing quotes and ordering supplies
- Experience with gas fireplace installations
- Current Cross Connection Control Ticket
- Comfortable reading blue prints
