**What’s the ask?**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Execute various systems, integration, regression, and ad-hoc tests for moderate to complex cross-functional components.
- Drive test automation process and create and execute test automation scripts using Selenium Webdriver with Java or any coding language.
- Improve existing automation frameworks, tools and QA delivery processes in a balanced manner.
- Contribute to the Automation Testing Architecture and Design practices.
- Convert requirements/ user stories into a set of test cases and scripts.
- Create and manage test plans, test estimates and traceability matrix.
- Bug logging, tracking and generate bug reports for issues found during testing.
- Verify Software fixes.
- Plan and co-ordinates UAT and provide product/feature training to business users.
- Work in a Devops/SCRUM team and participate in sprint reviews.
- Work closely with developers to resolve issues and ensure thorough testing.
- Recommend adjustments to current testing processes and procedures to ensure continuous improvements.

**What does it take?**
- 5+ years Software Testing experience.
- 3+ years of dedicated hands-on experience and proficiency in UI Web Test Automation.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with creating test automation scripts using Selenium Webdriver with Java/Python/C#.
- 3+ years of experience working on test automation frameworks such as POM(Page Object Model) or BDD(Business Driven Development) or TDD(Test Driven Development).
- Demonstrated experience in debugging to troubleshoot and fix failed test automation scripts.
- Experience in creating positive & negative path test cases based on requirements / user stories, execute test cases, log defects and reporting.
- Experience in functional, Integration, regression, and non-functional testing.
- Knowledge of various test tools and processes and ability to adapt new and emerging test tools and trends.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum and SDLC process.
- Solid understanding of writing SQL queries and joins to validate data from multiple sources.
- A self-learner who likes to stay on top of technology.
- Constantly learning and honing your skills.
- Team player with a team first approach.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to handle diverse situations and multiple projects.

**It’d be great if you have**:

- Experience in Agile Methodology
- Experience in Jira and DevOps.
- Experience working in insurance domain.
