**Position Title: Warehouse Manager**

**Location: Saanichton, BC, V8M 1Z7**

**Starting Minimum**:$60,000 per annum

**Job Type**:Full Time Permanent

**Position Summary**:
Reporting to the General Manager or designate, the Warehouse Manager will be responsible for mentoring, training, and managing personnel in the warehouse to meet customer requirements and ensure HACCP regulations are met and exceeded. They will achieve this through working alongside and leading a team of production workers.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage day-to-day operations of warehouses, working closely with the warehouse team.
- Ensure quality control in collaboration with the production supervisor and general manager, maintaining adherence to company and HACCP quality standards.
- Monitor staffing levels for warehouse and production departments.
- Foster collaboration and coordination between various departments including procurement, sales, and management.
- Optimize warehouse space and streamline product placement for maximum efficiency.
- Develop and enforce operational policies and procedures related to production, receiving, routing, inventory, and transportation within the warehouse.
- Communicate performance standards to staff, providing necessary training, mentoring, and coaching to align with company objectives.
- Conduct training sessions for new employees in partnership with supervisors/lead hands.
- Conduct performance appraisals during the probationary period to ensure thorough training.
- Investigate, document, and address all employee discipline issues in accordance with company policies.
- Review and approve timesheets on a weekly basis.
- Additional duties as assigned.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Willingness to work in a cold environment.
- Ability to perform physical tasks requiring lifting, carrying, and moving objects weighing 30+ lbs. safely and effectively.
- Physical fitness and stamina to sustain prolonged periods of activity, repetitive movements, and manual labor.
