**Overview**
We are a Cobourg based national charity, the Canadian Abilities Foundation, seeking a student volunteer join our team for all or part of the summer. This role is designed for individuals who are eager to gain hands-on experience while contributing to meaningful projects within our organization. As a Student Volunteer, you will have the opportunity to develop essential skills, engage with the community, and enhance your resume through practical experience.
**Duties**
In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that may include:
- Assisting with educate community members
- Supporting administrative tasks such as data collection and record-keeping.
- Writing and researching content
- Participating in project management activities to help plan and execute events or programs.
- Engaging in marketing and fundraising efforts
**Experience**
- Confident and willing to engage with others
- Interest in learning
- Experience in administrative roles or tasks that require attention to detail.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities
- Well organized, punctual and reliable
- Proficiency in data collection methods and analysis for program evaluation.
