Are you passionate about building meaningful connections and promoting well-being? **Our Community Day and Wellness program **is seeking a **Community Connector **to foster an engaging and inclusive environment where participants feel valued and supported. This role focuses on empowering individuals, enhancing their quality of life, and cultivating a strong sense of community.

**The Community Connector will**:

- Build and nurture positive, meaningful relationships with program participants, families, staff, volunteers, and visitors.
- Support participants in a caring and compassionate manner that aligns with Eden Care Communities' mission and vision.
- Encourage personal growth and promote well-being by engaging participants in activities that reflect their unique interests.
- Maintain open, honest communication with supervisors, managers, and co-workers to ensure seamless teamwork.
- Assist participants in exploring their community through outings and experiences that enrich their daily lives.
- Uphold participant dignity by maintaining confidentiality of personal and medical information.
- Keep the program environment welcoming and organized through light housekeeping and tidying.
- Attend training and team meetings to enhance your skills and contribute to program success.
- Document and chart as required.

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- A natural ability to connect with people and foster relationships.
- A passion for helping others grow and thrive within a supportive community.
- Valid driver’s license with a clear driving record.
- Completion of Grade 12 education.
- (Preferred but not required) CPR/First Aid certification and Transfer Lift & Repositioning training.
- Experience working in supportive, participant-focused environments is an asset.

**Job Type**: Part-Time

**Salary**: $17.00 per hour
