The Building & Facility Technician performs general light duty maintenance and housekeeping to ensure high standards of appearance (internal and external) and health and safety.

Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:

- Regular and daily inspections of the store
- Able to read and interpret blueprints (Mechanical, Electrical, Structural)
- Past experience with Computer Maintenance Management Systems
- Building repairs such as minor drywall, painting, electrical and plumbing
- Report all problems or major repairs to Facility Manager/Ops Manager
- Experience with fire systems and security fob systems
- Building Automation Systems experience in making adjustments
- Conveyor systems and experience with operating/adjusting
- Comply with all Health & Safety policies and requirements
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Must work strictly in compliance with all Health and Safety regulations
- Sound problem-solving, decision-making and time management skills
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Must be able to lift and move 50 pounds
- Ability to work at heights up to 25 feet
- Ability to multi-task and learn in a fast paced environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to maintain a positive attitude
- Positive attitude and good work ethic
- Must be able to spend long hours on feet
- Must be able to work independently and with a team
- WHMIS and First Aid would be an asset
- Good computer skills(MS Word, Excel and CMMS Computer Maintenance Management System)
