AECOM is seeking a Water/Wastewater EIT to be based in London, ON.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
+ Oversee and direct data collection and analysis activities

+ Undertake preliminary and detailed design activities

+ Responsible for the preparation of technical memoranda, preliminary and detailed design reports

+ Equipment selection and liaison with equipment suppliers and vendors

+ Oversee the production of contract drawings for water and wastewater related infrastructure

+ Preparation of technical specifications, special provisions, and forms of tender

+ Review of quantity and cost estimates for completeness and accuracy

+ Proposal preparation including the development of work plan, schedule, and fee estimates for water and wastewater scope of work components

+ Liaise/coordinate with other disciplines/departments in preparation of reports, design packages, and proposals for multi-disciplinary projects

+ Provision of contract administration services during the construction of water and wastewater infrastructure and facilities

+ Work independently and as part of a team to complete water and wastewater infrastructure assignments

+ Prepare technical reports and analysis to support project assignments

+ Actively engage in professional development and industry events

+ Edit technical reports with detailed attention to grammar, language and formatting

+ Assist other engineers with undertaking engineering tasks.

Minimum Requirements

+ Bachelor of Engineering (or Bachelor of Science in Engineering) degree in Civil, Chemical, Environmental or equivalent + 2 years of relevant work experience in water/wastewater engineering

+ Eligible for an Engineer in Training (EIT) license by PEO

+ Must possess a valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

+ Proficient in the use of desktop computational tools including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, etc

+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills

+ Strong technical report writing skills

+ Advanced data management skills through the use of spreadsheet and database software
