**Position Overview**:
As a Systems Administrator, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the efficiency and reliability of our technology environment with a specific focus on security measures in network and server maintenance, supporting our manufacturing processes, managing Windows servers, Windows desktops, Microsoft 365, and demonstrating familiarity with ERP systems.
You must be comfortable managing our IT infrastructure. This means identifying issues and bringing them to closure, using your own skill set or bringing in experts on an as-needed basis. This might mean dealing directly with employees to resolve their issues, working with other IT employees, or proposing new infrastructure to management to follow best practices.
**Key Responsibilities**:
While working closely with the Senior Technical Analyst to understand our systems, you will ensure our IT systems are robust and meet best practices. You will help with inhouse and third-party implementation of any changes. In addition, you will help with user support as issues arise.
**Network and Server Maintenance with Security Focus**:
- Administer, monitor, and maintain network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security compliance.
- Implement and oversee security measures to protect the organization's systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and regular security audits.
**General**
- Asset inventory and lifecycle management
**Microsoft 365 Administration**:
- Implement security best practices within Microsoft 365, including user access controls and data protection policies.
**Backup and Recovery**:
- Develop and execute backup and recovery strategies, emphasizing data security.
- Ensure data integrity and implement disaster recovery plans with a security-first mindset.
- Update and participate in testing of DRP (Disaster Recovery Plan) on an ongoing basis.
**Software and Hardware Management**:
- Manage hardware inventory and upgrades with security considerations in mind.
**Familiarity with ERP**:
- Demonstrate knowledge and experience with ERP systems to facilitate seamless integration with existing infrastructure. Aid in selection and implementation of new ERP system.
**Collaboration and Documentation**:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand IT requirements.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, security measures, and Microsoft 365 administration.
- Provide proposals and recommendations to management for new hardware/software/services to meet current and future business needs.
- Perform root cause analysis, troubleshooting and corrective actions to continuously improve the systems.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of networking, server administration, and security protocols.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies.
- Experience in implementing and managing security measures.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration.
- Knowledge of ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, Microsoft Certifications, etc.) are a plus.
**Education and Experience**:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in systems administration role
**User Support**:
- Provide technical support to end-users, addressing hardware and software issues.
- Educate users on security best practices and ensure compliance with security policies.
**Working Conditions**:
The Systems Administrator works mostly in an office environment. After-hours work and support are sometimes required.

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Supplemental pay types:

**Salary**: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
