We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Greenhouse Labour Supervisor to join our team and contribute to our mission of providing exceptional plants to our customers

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervising all crop work completed in the greenhouse area
- Work with the production and growing teams to schedule labour hours in accordance to crop schedule requirements
- Monitoring crop conditions / plant health and reporting any concerns
- Planning, delegating, motivating, and leading the teams to improve performance and quality, while ensuring work is done efficiently, correctly, and up to quality standards
- Be able to clearly convey instructions and expectations of standards and quality to Labourers
- Ensure equipment issues are reported by workers and conveyed to Maintenance
- Make sure that all sanitation procedures are followed, and that the greenhouse is up to the proper standard
- Make sure that all labourers adhere to all company policies
- Issue corrective action/write ups as needed and provide coaching, as necessary
- Promote a positive work environment to achieve excellent efficiency and quality
- Train new labourers using an established training program

**Requirements**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, positive, and open minded
- Ability to work with and learn computer programs like Microsoft Office Suite
- Greenhouse experience is an asset but not required
- Highly motivated, energetic, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work flexible hours including weekends
- Comfortable working with and communicating work instructions to workers whose primary language is not English
- Ability to carry up to 30 lbs
- Stand and walk for prolonged periods of time

**Working Conditions**:

- Combination of office (20%) and Greenhouse (80%) environment
- Work in variable climate condition, high temperatures and humidity
- Position requires sitting, standing, walking, and bending on a regular basis
