Investment Analyst

We are seeking a Investment Analyst to join our Coughlin team in Investment Analyst.
The Investment Analyst is responsible for the preparation and/or review of quarterly investment performance reporting packages for client accounts, to assume a lead role in documenting and reviewing investment managers and funds, implement and maintain quality assurance via internal control systems. The Investment Analyst will also participate in special projects and communicate with fund managers, consultants and clients as deemed necessary.
**The Investment Analyst will**:

- Coordinates the production of documents using available resources. Provides peer review of documents before final production / distribution to ensure quality control of final product.
- Produces accurate and detailed client reports through analysis of client-specific investment data, in support of consulting colleagues.
- Collects data needed for quarterly performance reports and analyzes client portfolio performance, including performance of each of the funds within the client's investment options.
- Responds to routine queries from clients, investment managers, and other third parties.
- Communicates with investment and money managers and custodians to gather and/or clarify client-specific data for reporting
- Liaising with clients and consultants to distributed quarterly reporting packages or other requested information.
- Liaising with investment managers as needed.
- Informing the manager of any issues which arise out of the course of daily work.
- Electronic data and document maintenance to include scanning, faxing, filing, destroying, photocopying, data entry and any processes required to prepare documents for these actions.
- Verifying work and data in the scope of the position for accuracy and completion.
- Opening, sorting, logging, and distributing incoming investment information.

**To be successful as a Investment Analyst **with Coughlin & Associates, you will need**:

- Experience in auditing practices, financial statement preparations and review, and assessment of investment reporting information
- Superior data entry skills and strong mathematical and reconciliation skills.
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically of Microsoft Excel, and standard office administration procedures.
- A knowledge of Investment and other investment related software.
- Excellent grammatical, spelling, and communication skills.
- The ability to maintain good public relations, both within and outside the organization.
- Strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and the ability to manage time effectively.
- The ability to adhere to existing company policies and procedures.
- The ability to use tact and discretion to maintain information in the strictest of confidence.
- Bilingualism in both official languages.
