**Schedule**: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
**Reason for Request**: Additional support needed

**About the Role**:
The position will play a key role in the **Data Loss Prevention (DLP) program**, which acts as a critical control to prevent sensitive information from being leaked, stolen, or mishandled, reducing both reputational and financial risks. You will support program initiatives, contribute to the enhancement of policies and workflows, and help strengthen defenses against insider threats and data exfiltration risks.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Manage program tracking and follow-up activities, collaborating across functions to prepare reports and highlight key program decisions.
- Support compliance and audit obligations by assembling closure documentation and gathering evidence to verify adherence.
- Coordinate and execute tasks independently, identifying opportunities to fix or improve existing DLP processes or systems.
- Contribute to the design and enhancement of DLP policies, standards, and procedures.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and proper implementation of DLP controls.
- Identify and escalate risks or gaps in coverage, recommending remediation strategies.

**Required Skills & Experience**:

- 8-9 years of technical work experience as an **IT Security Analyst**.
- 3+ years in **IT security** with a focus on **Data Loss Prevention (DLP)** or insider threat programs.
- Strong knowledge of **information security principles, data protection, and risk management**.
- Hands-on experience with DLP technologies such as **Forcepoint, Trellix, Microsoft Purview, or Symantec**.
- Proficiency in creating business and technical presentations using **PowerPoint**.

**Nice-to-Have Skills**:

- Familiarity with **security frameworks and compliance standards** (e.g., NIST, SOX, GDPR).
- Prior experience in **financial services or other regulated industries**.
- Knowledge of insider threat detection and data exfiltration techniques.

**Soft Skills**:

- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate across technical and business audiences.
- Strong decision-making and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Forward-thinking mindset with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Team player who can also work independently with mínimal direction.
- Navigate and drive outcomes across multiple complex teams.
- Manage competing priorities while fostering collaboration and alignment.
- Deliver **executive-level PowerPoint presentations** that are clear, compelling, and strategically aligned.

**Education**:

- Post-secondary degree in **Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field**, or equivalent work experience.
