Airport Catering Drivers are responsible for building and transporting all galleys to the clients' specifications for all scheduled flights. This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with time constraints to meet arrival and departure goals. A professional and positive image must be consistently displayed by the employee. The "Lead by Example" concept is strongly promoted. Airport Catering Drivers must report to work on a regular and timely basis and will report directly to the supervisor and/or manager on duty. **Job Duties** - Build/strip commissary according to airline specs and schedules within established timelines - Actively participates in the Safety Management System (SMS) - Complete inventories according to airline requirements - Understand and comply with IATA Food Safety requirements - Actively participate in Sky Café's Safety Management System (SMS) including reporting hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations. Understand, comply with and promote the Company Safety Policy - Responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the warehouse at all times - Assist in set up, cleaning, and storage of equipment & warehouse - Responsible for courteous, prompt, accurate, and careful handling of food and goods, including loading and offloading - Receive, perform temperature testing and inspection of catering deliveries from our food service provider - Operate forklift while observing safe procedures and maintenance of equipment, including the performance of equipment checks - Comply with all Sky Café and airline policies - Transport, load and unload the aircraft galleys from the warehouse to the aircraft - Constantly communicate with other catering personnel, and respective airline communication centers if applicable **Coordination and oversight of aircraft turnaround activities** - Ensure that processes are delivered within SLA standards and compliance limits while adhering to safety requirements - Responsible for the safety and security of all employees - Performs other duties as required **Requirements**: - Be at least 18 years of age - Possess a valid driver's license - Obtain a clear criminal record - Ability to obtain necessary airport vehicle operators permit - Must be capable of lifting/pushing/pulling up to 70 LBS. on a regular basis - Ability to work within the required time parameters - Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and varying schedules - Must successfully complete airline specific training programs and re-certification **Core Competencies** - Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently - Operate equipment in a safe and respectful manner - Able to work well under pressure and meet set deadlines - Attention to detail in all areas of work - Strong work ethic and positive team attitude **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Salary**: From $20.50 per hour **Benefits**: - Dental care - Extended health care - Paid time off - Vision care Flexible Language Requirement: - French not required Schedule: - Evening shift - Holidays - Monday to Friday - Morning shift - Night shift - Weekend availability Work Location: One location
