**About us** The Queen's Established in 1892, The Queen's has become known as a landmark for local, national and international quality acts in all genres of music and entertainment. The Queen's is looking for an experienced bartender and server to service our fast-paced, energetic atmosphere. This position is part-time. Must have a flexible schedule with availability in the evenings, weekends and holidays. **Requirements**: - Ability to work in a very fast paced, demanding environment - 2+ years bartending experience for BARTENDER / 2+ years experience in bar or restaurant industry for SERVER is recommended - Vast knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, cocktails, and the current B.C. liquor laws - "Serving It Right" valid certificate required - Food Safe certification an asset - Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays and cover shifts as required - Respectful and clear communication with other staff, management and customers - Reliable mode of transportation Job duties include, but are not limited to: - Serving drinks fast and efficiently - Verifying Identification - Respectful and clear communication with other staff, management, artists/promoters and customers - Completing opening and closing duties (cleaning, prepping, etc.) - Learning our menus and POS system - Keg and liquor tank changes - Filling out liquor and stock orders - Following recipes and creating feature cocktails - Maintaining adequate stock - Cleaning and assisting other staff members when needed **Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent **Salary**: $15.65 per hour **Benefits**: - Discounted or free food Schedule: - Day shift - Night shift Supplemental pay types: - Tips COVID-19 considerations: Masks needed.
