**Job description**
Reporting to the COO and Co-Founder, the Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire supply chain process, including sourcing, planning, purchasing, production, logistics, and distribution of products. The role involves developing and implementing strategic plans to optimize the supply chain process, managing inventory levels, maintaining relationships with suppliers and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, working closely with the production team, managing logistics and distribution of products, and continuously monitoring and measuring supply chain performance. The Supply Chain Manager must have strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as experience in supply chain management, preferably in the Food & Beverage industry.
- **Summary of Key Responsibilities**_
- Develop and improve sourcing and material control strategies and processes according to best practices and overall procurement strategies
- Analyze market trends and maintain knowledge of emerging technologies and industry best practices to ensure the company remains competitive and up-to-date
- Oversee and manage the procurement process, including negotiating with suppliers, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of materials.
- Continuously monitor and measure supply chain performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Source products and negotiate with suppliers for the best prices, delivery times, and payment terms
- Create and follow through on purchase orders and production requirements from start to finish by following up after orders are placed and having clear confirmations from suppliers and logistics for deliveries
- Work closely with logistics to coordinate shipments
- Qualify and audit suppliers to ensure quality and compliance with rigorous safety standards
- Develop and become the expert in the assigned product categories, including staying current with market trends and competitive intelligence
- Build highly collaborative and resilient relationships across all business functions
- Build supplier relationship programs to ensure performance and service expectations are met
- Manage inventory turns within a product portfolio to meet and exceed targets
- Work closely with Quality Control and log non-conformance and work together to identify root cause and corrective action
- Work with finance to set up best possible supplier payment terms and assist in reporting and analytics
- Work closely with Finance to ensure paperwork is collected and orders are received and invoiced
- Set expectations with suppliers and logistics providers regarding communication, performance, responsiveness, and other key facets of the working relationship
**Skills Required**:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management;
- Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain, Materials Management, Industrial Engineering or another business-related field;
- Experience and knowledge of Lean Six Sigma tools and Continuous Improvement methodology
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills and exposure to senior management
- Knowledge in demand management, Sales & Operations Planning, forecasting tools, forecasting processes in sales, marketing operations, finance, manufacturing and supply chain management

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
