Looking for a great place to work? Demtool is a custom machining, fabrication & powder coating shop in Petersburg, just 5 minutes west of Kitchener. We are growing so quickly we have doubled our employees in the last 3 years.

We now require an additional individual to work with our shipping and assembly teams. The position is **day shift Monday to Friday with a paid lunch and no weekends**. This new position is at the Petersburg Location.

**What you will be doing**
- Prepare shipping documents such as packing slips, bills of lading, and waybills.
- Inspect, and pack finished goods.
- Load / unload shipments and deliveries.
- Coordinate shipping and receiving and documentation of outside services.
- Identify job materials and supplies to be ordered and submit purchase requests.
- Receive, inspect, and store materials received using forklifts, pump trucks, cranes, etc.
- Enter information into ERP system as required.
- General organization and maintaining of shipping area and other work areas.
- Act as a back-up delivery driver, shipper/receiver and quality inspection as required.
- Assemble product to specifications using fasteners, adhesives etc.
- Other work-related tasks as assigned.

**Your skills and abilities**
- 1 - 3 years of Shipping/Receiving experience an asset but not required
- Be able to operate forklifts of various sizes.
- Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 60 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Must be 25 years or older with a valid G driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract.
- Ability to multi-task with attention to detail.
- Competent using computers including Microsoft outlook and ERP programs.
- Ability to interpret drawings/blueprints and asset.
