**Role Summary**

London Stone Co. is London Ontario's fastest growing Granite, Marble, Quartz, Quartzite, Onyx, and Semi-Precious Countertops stone fabricators, with a dedicated team of industry professionals.

We are looking for a Material Handler/General Labourer to join our team If you’re a detail-oriented, hands-on individual, looking for full-time work in a friendly, respectful, dynamic environment - keep reading.

**Responsibilities**:

- Unload/load stone from transport trucks using forklift in a safe manner
- Spot material movements using clear communication skills (verbal/visual)
- Organize & document inventory
- Stage material for processing
- Operate overhead crane
- Follow all safety regulations when operating forklift and/or crane
- Accepting and processing of incoming stock and materials
- Clean and maintain shop
- Help machine operators unload/load machines when not busy
- Heavy lifting is required
- Other duties as required

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience operating fork truck
- Current forklift certificate a strong asset, not a requirement
- Good planning and time management skills
- Attention to detail

**Personal Suitability**:

- **Dependable, good attendance record is important**:

- Solid interpersonal skills; able to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and accuracy
- Strong communication skills
