**New hire-$ per week & Returning staff-$ per week (plus room & board)**

**If assigned to a 2-4 week canoe trip, daily rate to be**provided**

**Location: Camp Stephens, Lake of the Woods, Kenora, Ontario (Live on Site)**

Do you love working with children? Want to help provide a high quality camp experience for every child? Excited about spending your Summer on an island in beautiful Lake of the Woods? Camp Stephens provides a unique opportunity for everyone. As a member of the Wilderness team, this individual is responsible for providing expertise, experience and skill specific to running a range of Wilderness Canoe trips at Camp Stephens. These Wilderness Canoe Trips may include White Water or Lake trips and depot sessions on island when required.

**Are you the right fit?**
- Leadership: Foster an inclusive and supportive camp environment by serving as a role model, mentoring campers, and collaborating with staff to ensure a cohesive and positive experience.
- Operations: Oversee camper safety and engagement by leading wilderness instruction, managing trip logistics, and ensuring compliance with YMCA-YWCA of Winnipeg policies and risk management best practices.
- Administration: Maintain accurate trip documentation, complete incident reports, and support program improvement through effective communication and record-keeping.

**Assets**:
Trainings considered as an asset: Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOP), OCA Camp Marine Module Training
