**We are seeking a passionate Guest Experience Associate in Whitby, Ontario to join our village.**

**What we need**

Reporting to the Manager, Guest Experience, the **Guest Experience Associate** welcomes, assists and advises guests on the thermal cycle, its benefits, and all available services and experiences while contributing to exceptional guest experiences. The Guest Experience Associate is also responsible for ensuring the up keeping of the premises, in accordance with organizational standards.

You will support the elevation of our culture through the lens of our pillars: The best in wellness | The feeling of somewhere else | A trouble-free experience | In a natural state.

**What you’ll do**
- Welcome and check-in guests;
- Respond to inquiries regarding services and facilities;
- Process various payment methods;
- Maintain adequate par stock of supplies and accessories;
- Maintain cleanliness of the reception area, lobby, entrance hall, pavilions,, common areas and locker rooms;
- Assist guests ensuring the guest experience is impeccable, according to the standards dictated by the brand;
- Participate in service recovery where necessary
- Seek to identify and understand guests needs and strive to satisfy meet or exceed them;
- Maintain guest experience throughout the sauna village, ensuring spa standards are being met;
- Work alongside other departments to ensure a seamless overall guest experience;
- Performs other related duties.

**Profile needed**

**What is the profile needed in order to be successful in this position**
- High School Diploma;
- One (1) year experience in customer service, an asset;
- Basic knowledge of Windows based software, an asset;
- Knowledge of the SpaBooker system, an asset;
- WHMIS Certification; an asset;
- Ability to communicate clearly with guests, managers and other associates;
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with a calm demeanor;
- Good physical condition; ability to work outdoor during all months of the year (weather appropriate uniform provided);
- Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time, ability to lift up to 30lbs (13.5kg).
