**Job Summary**
**Duties**
- Assist veterinarians during examinations and procedures by holding animals and providing necessary instruments.
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for patient visits.
- Perform laboratory tasks such as collecting samples, running tests, and maintaining laboratory equipment.
- Administer medications and vaccinations as directed by the veterinarian.
- Monitor animal behavior and vital signs during examinations and treatments.
- Provide clients with information on pet care, nutrition, and preventive health measures.
- Maintain accurate medical records for each patient, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
- Assist with the handling of animals in a safe and humane manner, ensuring their comfort throughout their visit.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience as a Veterinary Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of laboratory procedures and techniques is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A genuine passion for animal care and welfare is essential.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays if necessary.
