Bond Bond's Bakery requires a permanent part time bread baker's helper/production prep for minimum 18+hrs/wk. Shift times: Sun 8am - 2:30pm and Mon/Tues shifts 11am - 5pm. Hoping to also train in other production positions with potential to cover those shifts during holiday coverage, sick days, etc as required.
Main duties include assisting bread baker on Sun shift with the mixing, forming and shaping of artisan breads, scaling & clean up. The Mon/Tues shifts entail the mixing, forming and bake-off of made from scratch artisan style baked goods - cookies, scones, bars, etc, scaling & clean up. We're looking for a reliable, strong person who can handle working on their own and has a keen eye for quality and the desire to learn. Ability to work with a positive attitude in a limited work space, read & scale recipes accurately, lift 50lbs, bend & twist, stand for long periods of time, work unsupervised and with your co-workers are all required. Previous experience in a bread bakery preferable or at minimum some food service experience.
