R&d Technician

**Description of roles we recruit for**: We are looking for culinary technicians to assist product designers in the Research and Development kitchen. Responsibilities in these roles typically include:

- Preparing samples for client shipments (weighing, cooking, assembling, and packaging).
- Managing the R&D kitchen's ingredient inventory.
- Procuring necessary ingredients from the plant or grocery store as needed.
- Supporting the product designer in creating new recipes/concepts.
- Supporting the preparation of product tasting sessions.
- Documenting all recipes and tests performed.
- Culinary training (e.g., ITHQ, Hotel School, Nutrition Technician, or other relevant training).
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in a kitchen environment.
- Physical aptitude for standing work and excellent manual dexterity for handling food.
- **Important**: Must not have any food allergies or dietary restrictions.
- Meticulous, with a strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, and ability to work under pressure.
- Good knowledge of the MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Availability for occasional travel in Canada and/or the United States for client presentations.
- Asset: Knowledge of English.
