Wastewater Technician

Flowmax Waste Management Solutions Ltd is a privately owned and operated company providing mobile wastewater treatment and sewer containment services to camps, drilling rigs, and other remote locations. We are currently seeking a full-time **Wastewater Technician / Laborer **for our Whitecourt branch.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Servicing of Wastewater Treatment and Hold and Haul units, hoses, and lift stations in the yard and in the field in compliance with service checklists and company procedures.
- Spotting, connecting, and testing equipment prior to use
- Rigging up sewer bags in the field
- Rigging up sewage lift stations, hoses, PVC pipe
- Troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing any items found to be deficient
- Ensuring all Wastewater equipment is cleaned
- Demonstrating a positive attitude towards safety
- Other duties as required.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Desire and ability to perform physical requirements of the job in demanding conditions and work in a drug and alcohol-free environment
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot and repair problems with motors, electrical devices, pumps and heat trace
- Self-motivated, high attention to detail, and safety conscious
- Willing and able to work in a team setting and to help wherever needed
- Ability to problem solve and find outside-the-box solutions in adverse conditions
- Excellent organizational skills, cleanliness, and commitment to keeping crew trucks, trailers, and work areas in proper working order
- Experience in any trade is considered an asset
- Experience working on equipment is considered an asset
