**What you will do as the Line Lead**:
- Ensure Health & Safety in the workplace
- Adherence to Quality standards
- Responsible for reporting and addressing food safety issues
- Design and lead continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage employee relations; both recognition and progressive discipline
- Ensure employee training goals and programs are maintained and skill matrix is current
- Monitor and manage all maintenance, safety and sanitation programs for compliance and frequency
- Mentor, coach, and successfully lead hourly associates to improve skills and performance
- Reports to: Plant Manager
- Other duties as assigned
**Requirements/Qualifications**:
- Completion of post-secondary education in manufacturing/production management or a related field of study; and/or equivalent related work experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills combined with strong organizational skills
- Proven track record of leadership and motivational abilities
- Previous supervisory/leadership experience
- Food experience preferred
- First Aid certification preferred
- Computer literate and mechanically inclined
