You will be supported by another staff for a multi age licensed daycare of 8 children

- You are assertive in offering advice on how to make a program better as well as incorporate advise in your practice.
- Your accountable for your actions and decisions, and as a part of a team, you can offer your input into decisions as well as respect others.

**Job Requirements**:

- A valid Early Childhood Educator Certificate
- Current First Aid Level B for Child Care Workers
- Thrive being outside and taking children off-site
- Directly interact with children to provide quality care and creative programming
- Assist, plan, and implement a child-centered program with a team
- Maintain positive communication and interaction with families while building meaningful relationships
- Ensure the safety and supervision in accordance to licensing requirements, including food preparation and light cleaning.
- Only release children to authorized parent/guardians while verifying identifies at pick-up
- Maintain confidential information of children, families and staff
- Be professional, i.e. regular attendance, punctuality and appropriately dressed
- Will require three written references

**Other Assets**
- Food Safe Level 1 an asset
- Experience working with children in a childcare and recreational setting
- Outdoor education diploma or certificate an asset
- Musical instrument an asset

**Potential Hours**:9:30am to 5:30pm

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fly-In/Fly-Out, Casual

Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
