**Key Responsibilities**:
**Veterinary Receptionist Duties**
- Greet clients and handle inquiries by phone, online, and in person with professionalism and empathy
- Triage patients and schedule appointments based on urgency and availability
- Manage patient records, process invoices and payments, and perform daily cash reconciliations
- Educate clients on services, treatments, and over-the-counter products

**Veterinary Assistant Duties**
- Assist veterinarians and technicians with exams, treatments, and procedures
- Provide general animal care, including feeding, grooming, walks, and monitoring post-surgical recovery
- Safely restrain animals and soothe those that are fearful or distressed
- Maintain a clean, sanitized clinic environment and sterilize surgical equipment
- Support inventory, ordering, and restocking efforts

**What We’re Looking For**
- High school diploma or equivalent (Veterinary Assistant or Medical Office Assistant education is an asset)
- Customer service experience (required); animal care or veterinary experience is a strong asset
- Comfortable working in a clinical setting, including euthanasia support and post-mortem care
- Proficiency with computers and software (MS Office, Outlook; AviMark experience is an asset)
- Strong communication, conflict resolution, and multitasking skills
- Team player with a positive attitude, initiative, and a calm demeanor under pressure

Pay: $20.00-$21.00 per hour
