International Sugars is an SQF (Safe Quality Food) certified ingredient packaging and distribution company located in Vaughan, Ontario. We have an opening for a new team member to work full-time as a Forklift Operator / Production Worker.

**We offer**:

**Required Skills/Licenses**:

- Forklift Operator’s License, Driver’s License (G)
- Minimum 3 years experience operating the following: manual, electric and ride-on pallet jack equipment as well as counter balance forklift and Raymond reach forklift preferably in a food processing or food warehousing environment
- Secondary School Diploma
- Proficient English skills both written and orally
- Weight Handling 25 kilograms (55 lbs)
- Physical labour and standing for long periods of time

**Responsibilities**:
As a member of the Production Team you will be responsible for maintaining our high standards in food safety and sanitation practices by performing a variety of duties such as:

- Preparing, cleaning, inspecting and filling containers and equipment (eg. plastic IBC totes, stainless steel tanks).
- Sanitation of equipment and work areas with a high standard of cleanliness.
- Accurate and legible writing for the completion of task checklists, documentation of sanitation duties while ensuring all company GMPs and SOPs are followed.
- Maintaining an organized, clean, and safe work area.
- Adherence to Workplace Safety and Food Safety training provided
- Transport of finished products and packaging materials throughout warehouse with powered equipment (counter balance forklift, electric walkie, raymond reach lift, etc.)
- Inspecting, loading and unloading of tractor-trailers and straight trucks.
- Shrinkwrapping, strapping, labelling and preparing orders for shipment.
- Rotating through other production and warehouse roles for vacation and overflow relief.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Additional Qualifications**:
Previous work experience in the food and beverage processing industry and knowledge/experience working in a HACCP Certified environment would be an asset.

**Salary**: $20.00-$21.00 per hour
