Golden Concrete, part of the Terus Construction Ltd. group, is seeking a **Quality Control Technician **for its Golden operation. Terus Construction Ltd. is a leader in the construction industry in British Columbia and the Yukon.

**Main Responsibilites**:
**Core Duties/Responsibilities**:

- Understand and control concrete qualities on jobsites to meet specifications.
- Display good communication and liaison with batch plant, contractor and owner representatives regarding project quality management.
- Conduct testing procedures for aggregate properties used in ready mix concrete and asphalt pavement.
- Write Quality Control Testing Reports and conduct lab correlation with Quality Assurance Testing Agency.
- Understanding project specifications and requirements.
- Direct and train staff in laboratory not as familiar with particular quality control procedures.
- Ensure compliance with the Company’s procedures with trials, sampling, testing and reporting of test results for materials being constructed.
- At all time, conduct business under his/her responsibility with professionalism and respect.

**Requirements/Skills**
- Good communication skills ( oral & written ) and team player
- Accuracy in reporting
- Time management skills
- Computer Literate
- Driver’s License
- Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and at least 2-3 years of experience
- Or self-taught with significant experience in the field
