The Controller will be crucial in providing accurate financial information for strategic decision-making.
**Responsibilities**:
1. **Financial Reporting**:
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
2. **Budgeting and Forecasting**:
- Collaborate with department heads to develop and manage budgets.
- Provide financial forecasts and analysis to support strategic planning and decision-making processes.
3. **Internal Controls**:
- Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Conduct regular internal audits to assess the effectiveness of controls.
4. **Financial Systems and Processes**:
- Evaluate and enhance financial systems to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Implement best practices for financial data management and reporting.
5. **Cash Flow Management**:
- Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure the organization's liquidity needs are met.
- Optimize working capital and make recommendations for improvement.
**6 Costing and Pricing**:
- Implement and oversee effective costing methodologies to ensure accurate product costing.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to establish competitive pricing strategies.
- Develop strong inventory controls
**7. ERP Implementation**:
- Lead the planning and execution of ERP system implementation, ensuring seamless integration with existing processes.
- Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to customize ERP modules for optimal performance.
8 **Team Leadership**:
- Supervise and mentor the accounting and finance team.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment
**Qualifications**:
1. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA, CA, CMA designation preferred.
2. Proven experience as a Controller in a manufacturing company.
3. In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Proficiency in ERP software and Microsoft Excel.
7. High level of integrity and commitment to confidentiality.
