As a Delivery Driver in the glass industry, you will be integral to our client's success by ensuring timely deliveries are done in a safe manner. Delivery routes vary depending on the day. We have delivery routes within Calgary and also out of town runs such as Lethbridge, Edmonton, Cranbrook & Medicine Hat. Reporting to the Shipping Team Lead, you will utilize your core skills in customer service, communication, and heavy lifting to meet our clients' needs. **MUST-HAVE** Requirements (you _**will not**_ be considered for the position if you do not have the following): - Full Class 5 drivers licence, (not a GDL), and clean abstract - Able to pass a criminal record check and a drug & alcohol test - Capable of lifting 50-70 lbs unassisted and 100-175 lbs assisted - Have insurance on your own vehicles, uninterrupted for at least the last 5 years (this shows insurability to our insurance company) - No at-fault accidents in the last 5 years, and no tickets in the last 3 years - Description continued..._ Some commercial driving experience is a definite asset as the position requires the ability to drive 1-ton, 3-ton and 5-ton trucks. Our drivers are responsible to load their own trucks, (with some help from other shop associates and drivers), and unload at the customers location.
