**The Opportunity**

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Analyzes, develops, and maintains a cyber security framework to address cybersecurity threats based on current best practices. Acts as the authority for all cyber-security related matters in the organization.
- Oversees vendors and other partner organizations to perform risk assessments of new solutions. Monitors existing cloud solutions for security compliance and enforces security standards if required.
- Ensures the integrity, stability, availability of IT services by developing, analyzing, and monitoring back-end infrastructure.
- Leads the support, design, configuration, deployment, troubleshooting and maintenance of network and cyber security infrastructure to ensure efficient day-to-day operations and mitigate risks from potential threats.
- Leads the development of policies, procedures, and educational material to formalize a comprehensive cyber risk mitigation program.
- Create reports for key metrics and deliverables for presentation. Identify opportunities for improvement and work with stakeholders on implementation.
- Provides advice, recommendations, support and educational material to leaders and staff on issues pertaining to cyber security. Conducts live training for leaders and staff as required.
- Responds to any security breaches or intrusions that may occur, as the key resource for cyber security incident management.
- Remains up to date with current trends in cyber security threats, technologies, and mitigations. Identify emerging threats, tactics, and procedures, and collaborate with internal and external teams to share trends and provide actionable threat intelligence.
- Supports the design, configuration, deployment, troubleshooting and maintenance of servers, network, and backup infrastructure.
- Ensures the integrity and management of corporate data and enterprise storage (i.e., access permissions, sensitive and confidential documents, data retention, etc.).
- Receives, documents, prioritizes, and provides timely 2nd level technical support and response to users of technology systems.
- Works closely with other members of the Information Technology team in the identification, diagnosis, isolation, and resolution of complex problems.
- Participates as part of the IT after hours on-call rotation to address emergency IT related issues as they occur outside of normal working hours.
- Research emerging technologies, threats and services that may enhance user satisfaction and security with IT projects and make recommendations on new products.
- Participates in handling of political, confidential, sensitive and investigation requests.
- Other duties as assigned.
