**JOB TITLE**: Physician Assistant
**LOCATION**:Mississauga (Partial remote work is available following successful onboarding, with occasional in-person clinic days as needed.)

**SALARY RANGE**: $50.00 to $62.00 per hour based on skills and experiences. We are flexible in offering full time hours lessor part time hours based on availability and level of commitment.

**Practice Details**:
An exceptional opportunity is available for a **licensed Physician Assistant** to join a **Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist** with dual hospital and community or Allergy & Clinical Immunology. This position offers the best of both worlds (exposure to complex inpatient medicine and continuity of care in an outpatient specialty setting).

**About the Role**

The Physician Assistant will support a broad spectrum of gastroenterology and hepatology services and/or allergy services, including outpatient, procedural follow-up, and longitudinal patient management. The role includes (under delegation):

- Conduct patient assessments and assist in diagnosis and management under physician supervision
- Coordinate investigations, follow-up, and care plans
- Provide patient counselling and education
- Support continuity of care across hospital and community settings
- Contribute to quality improvement and clinical workflow initiatives

Remote and flexible scheduling are available for administrative and follow-up components of the role.

**Qualifications - Must Have**:

- Graduate of a Physician Assistant Program (Canadian) **REQUIRED**:

- Registered with the CPSO PA#
- Eligible to work in Canada/Ontario
- Excellent medical recording keeping with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide-range of patients with different backgrounds and medical conditions
- Demonstrated competency to perform complete clinical assessment and development of treatment plans in accordance with medical directives (patient-facing in addition to providing virtual care)
- Passionate about furthering education,. training, and development to meet patient care requirements (up to date with clinical research and studies)
- Abililty to handle large patient volumes; excellent time management, decision-making, problem recogniziation and problem solving skills

**Greats to have (Assets but not required)**:

- Experience with working with EMR and/or HIS
- Experience with any of the following specialties: GI, ENT, Pediatrics, Respirology, General Medicine, Allergy, Dermatology, Internal Medicine, Rheumatology, Ortho

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $50.00-$60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
