R.A. Green Lumber is a family-run lumber manufacturing and trading company located in Victoria, BC. We have operated remotely for the last 3 years and are now looking to open a Victoria based trading floor. Our team services wholesale clients and retail lumber yards in both Canada and the United States. Our goal on the manufacturing side is to provide the highest quality products available on the market and provide first class customer service to our clients. On the commodity trading side, we look to fill needs in the market while turning solid margins and creating longstanding trading relationships with both suppliers and clients. R.A. **Role Overview**:
We are seeking 2-3 commodity traders with a existing client bases and track records of successful business. These individuals must be located in Victoria, or be open to relocation to Victoria. This position is perfect for someone looking for more autonomy and flexibility in their role. R.A. Green Lumber will provide the opportunity to buy from whatever sawmills the trader requires, along with best-in-industry commission splits. Our traders keep more of their earned money, have greater flexibility on who to buy and sell with, and the ability to set their own working hours. We prioritizes employee work-life balance, along with strong profits and growth.

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Wholesale trading
- Order entries
- Market research
- Logistics
- 5-10 years of experience in the lumber industry is required
- Existing customer base is required
- Business degree or diploma not required but considered an asset
- Ability to travel as required (3-4 weeks of travel per year estimated)
