Shipper/receiver/driver

**Position Summary**

**Job Duties**
- Use company trucks (pickup truck with trailer, 5-ton truck) to pickup and deliver required items
- Deliver parts for processing at supplier locations
- Pick up finished parts and return to our production facility
- Receive orders from the expeditor/scheduler
- Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or equipment
- Use a forklift and other industrial equipment for unloading and moving products when needed
- Operate and maintain digital inventory control/ERP systems (Visual)
- Receive items in Visual ERP system and verify to packing slip and Purchase Order
- Quality check parts while verifying incoming numbers to drawings
- Monitor inventory levels of issued materials and stock
- Performs physical inventories/counts/random or receipt audits/reconciliations
- Research inventory discrepancies and make necessary corrections
- Ensure the stock items are properly labelled and identifiable
- Assist in various production tasks when required; machine operation of grinders, drills, weld machines
- Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Safety and Health Act and PakFab policies
- Other duties as required

**Requirements**:

- 2+ years of experience in shipping/receiving, inventory control, material handling, or a similar function (required)
- Valid G Drivers License (required)
- Experience in commercial driving (preferred)
- Knowledge using and maintaining ERP (inventory/resource planning) systems preferred
- Must possess a valid forklift license
- Demonstrated experience using computers, including the use of Microsoft Office
- Demonstrated experience using both manual and power tools
- Ability to read a tape measure and do basic math
- Poof of a valid driver's license
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Strong attention to detail
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times
- Must be able to carry and move equipment and/or supplies in excess of 50 pounds

**Experience**:

- shipping & receiving: 2 years (preferred)
- manufacturing: 2 years (preferred)
- commercial driving: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift License (preferred)
- G Drivers License (required)
