About the Warehouse Inventory Associate Job
Under the direction of the Inventory Supervisor, the Inventory Associate is responsible for maintaining/monitoring accurate inventory and completing any necessary tasks in a manner consistent with company cost objectives. This is a physical and dynamic role with the majority of the employee time spent on our warehouse floor.
**Giant Tiger Wholesale - We can offer**: Starting wage of $18/hour
Additional $2/hour for hours worked 9:00pm - 6:00am
Automatic milestone wage increases at 1040 hours, 2080 hours, 4160 hours and annually after that;

**Warehouse Inventory Associate Job Highlights**:
Participate in inventory cycle counts in order to complete 3 cycle counts per fiscal period.
Pick and examine by hand Symbotic eject/rejects in a timely manner and help determine root causes as to why the cases were rejected.
Manually help ensure that the Symbotic suspect cases are managed within specifications and take the necessary steps to correct and prevent discrepancies.
Perform inventory adjustments as needed to maintain accurate inventory levels.
Drive an electric double pallet truck around the warehouse to search, locate, and move cases with a focus on safe and efficient operation.
Review inventory adjustments with Supervisor and Manager when the discrepancies are above tolerance level.
Update and distribute reports on a timely basis each business day.
Troubleshoot, sort and locate merchandise related to Symbotic eject/reject.
Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
Perform other warehouse related work as required by Supervisor.
Conduct operations in a manner which promotes safety and complies with Ontario Safety and Health Act (OSHA), and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) standards.
Capable of standing, walking, climbing stairs and repetitively lifting heavy objects throughout shift.
Comfortable in a noisy, fast-paced environment.
Must be a team player, and be motivated by team accomplishments.
**Warehouse Inventory Associate Job Schedule**:
**Sunday - Thursday**: 7:00am - 3:30 pm
